The DERPIn project is at the forefront of modernizing the agricultural landscape through a dedicated focus on innovation and technology. Supported by AKADEMIYA2063, this initiative bridges the gap between traditional farming and modern technological solutions.
The pilot phase of the program saw successful engagement across five diverse countries, leveraging regional networks to ensure deep local impact:
- West Africa: Active implementation in Senegal, Ghana, and Benin through ROPPA.
- Southern Africa: Focused efforts in Malawi in partnership with SACAU.
- East Africa: Strategic engagement in Uganda via EAFF.
While the project duration extends from 2023 through August 2025, the current phase is marked as completed, providing a robust framework for the next steps in Africa’s technological agricultural evolution.
