The SAFE2020 program was a complementary and coherent initiative to FO4ACP, designed as a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Funded by IFAD and running from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2022, the project is now completed. The objective was to address the identified needs of farmers in terms of input supply, basic assets, e-commerce, digitalization, information, and advocacy to better position Farmer Organizations in governmental decision-making. The grant was financed through the Rural Poor Stimulus Facility (RPSF), an IFAD initiative aimed at restoring livelihoods and making rural areas more resilient.
