OD Project

The Organizational Development (OD Project) is a central initiative funded by AHA with a duration spanning from 2024 to 2026. Categorized as both an advocacy program and a capacity-strengthening effort for Farmer Organizations (FOs), the project has already reached several critical governance milestones. Key achievements to date include the renewal of statutory documents, specifically the Constitution and Internal regulations, as well as the establishment of other essential statutory documents. The project has also completed an evaluation of the 2021-2025 strategic plan and successfully drafted the new strategic plan for 2026-2030. To ensure robust leadership and coordination, the initiative organized both physical and online sessions to discuss various agendas related to PAFO governance.

Looking toward the future, the project will focus on consulting with PAFO members to finalize all statutory documents, with a particular emphasis on the Constitution and Internal regulation. A major upcoming priority is the finalization of the Kampalamet Concept note and the preparation of a full project proposal, followed by dedicated resource mobilization efforts for the initiative. Ultimately, these actions will lead to the pilot phase of PAFO Kampalamet, further strengthening the organizational foundation of the network.
