Promote and consolidate solidarity among African farmers through existing regional organizations;
Achieve the economic and social empowerment of farmers through representation and defense of their interests at continental and international scale;
Transform the agricultural sector in Africa into a factor of sustainable food security and sovereignty;
Contribute to regional and continental integration through facilitating trade at interregional and continental level, and advocate for the development of infrastructures in Africa towards improving the flow of factors of production and agricultural products;
Collaborate with the African Union and other institutions to ensure the implementation of commitments made by their member countries on technical and financial support to the agricultural sector;
Cooperate towards the development, harmonization and implementation of agricultural policy at the continental level, and its contribution to the growth of the sector and trade;
Participate in the capacity building of farmers organizations in Africa, through the raising of funds, institutional development, information and communication, exchange of experiences and dissemination of good agricultural practices;
Strengthen partnerships and alliances with all relevant partners to support the agricultural sector and rural development;
Promote and strengthen the participation of African women, youth and minority groups in agriculture
